Lily-cup is an odd book. It looks and sounds great, but there’s nothing about it that I can really get behind. The characters are so clearly named in some of the stories (Lily, Lily-cup, Lily-cup-a-roo), but the stories themselves are just a series of generic (or at least generic enough) tales of young writers. I can’t say I was ever really into the books, but I remember them as being rather dull.
In all fairness, the most appealing part of Lily-cup is the way the stories flow. Each story is told in a very well-written paragraph and it is so easy to follow along with all the characters and their interactions that there really isn’t anything to get bored of. This is a bit of a strange thing for me.
Well, at least you’re not really in the story. It seems as if Lily-cup has been a little bit of a disappointment to me. It is quite obvious that there is no real purpose to the stories and most of the characters have no real motivation to keep turning in a new story.
I liked the concept of this. Lily-cup is a little bit like an alternate universe where things are a little bit different. It does show the characters are not really the same and that things are not as bad as they seem. This is very similar to a fairy tale, so it is a bit of a challenge to make it work. But it is very neat to see how different they can be.
Lily-cup is really not all that bad. Like any fairy tale, there’s a lot of darkness and confusion, but it’s very enjoyable. The characters, at least in the first half, are not really very interesting in their minds. They’re just there, and while they are usually happy and well-adjusted, there is some darkness in their hearts. That’s where the light comes, and the real heroes are those who are able to break through it.
All in all, the new game is a ton of fun. While it is not as dark as the original, its still a lot of fun. The characters are definitely not that interesting, and while I would love to have seen more of their thoughts, its not a problem. Theyre just there, trying to make the best of their situation while they work towards their goals. Lily cup is one of those games that makes you feel like you really are there.
Lily cup does have its share of puzzles and design issues. For example, once you unlock the secret areas in the game, the game itself doesn’t make it easy for you to find your way around. I can’t tell you what is the problem, but its a shame to have the game play as if it is a puzzle game instead of a game that makes you feel like you are exploring its world.
